I am so honored to have received an award from Adam Abeshouse's Classical Recording Foundation for my upcoming CD. The other award winners were wonderful artists Alan R. Kay and CD collaborator Jon Klibonoff, Christopher Theofanidis, Francesca dePasqualle and my CD collaborator Reiko Uchida. Reiko and I performed music that I commissioned of my dear husband, Mark, and my life-long friend, Jennifer Higdon. Mark presented a beautiful tribute to me ... singing and playing his saxophone. National Sawdust is wonderful new music space! A beautiful magical evening!
